This article will state something that is annoying me for quite a while now, with the google adsense ads, keep reading if you want to know, what i am talking about.

Google Adsense, A way to monetise your sites, blogs, pages. Hell, yeah, OR, Yeah right!?

I write this article, as stated in the intro, because there are certain facts that are starting to annoy me tremendously.

Everybody knows,-unless you have been living under a rock- that Google Adsense is one of the best ways for average people to make extra money online, wether by writing articles (as we are all doing here), by monetising your blog and whatnot.

But, everyone, who is a little bit known, with Google Adsense, knows, that they have got a pretty strict policy, and that they can delete your account in a flash. What is quite normal, nobody would like it when, you fraude the system.

Let me tell you something, i make the most of my online income trough Google Adsense, accompanied by affiliate marketing, i have made more than a dozen blogs, on blogger and wordpress, written hundreds of articles, on several Google adsense sharining articles sites, like here on hubpages, squidoo, bukisa, etc. Cranked up more than twenty Google adsense niche sites, so you see, i build up a small business.

But, and now i'll cut to the chase, haven't you noticed that it is getting tougher to get clicks?, isn't it harder to get a nice amount of click trough rates? Howcome???

I mean, ok people all know these bars and blue collored ads by now, but, and there is the significant problem to me, they aren't targeted!!! Even when you do the proper keyword research (still needed tough), even when you tag the best keywords for your site or article, it is still hard to get the correct ads on your page. I'll give you an example, i have a , blog about diabetes, where are more then 40 unique articles written on, and yes, there are diabetes related ads on that pages,(3) but what surprises me the most is that there are also, ads for tattoo's and even discount coupons for hotels in Europe.

Now i can imagine that Google doesn't like to pay, but hey, aren't they getting paid for each click as well??

A while ago, i came upon a software, that lets you pick the Google ads, and i was able to weed out the ones that weren't related to my topic, but, i deleted the software by accident. damn, don't even now the name (it was a piece of plr software). if anyone knows the name, please lett me know.

Currently i am making a few more blogs and going to try other publishing networks, like bidvertiser, adbrite,....

I will let all of you readers know what the outcome will be.

I've been on HubPages about 8 months now. First two months, I averaged about $2-$3 a day. I never came close to making this much money on my old blog. So, while it wasn't much money, at least it was something. It was about enough to buy me coffee and a biscuit at McDonalds. Then in my 3rd month, the bottom fell out. I was getting far fewer clicks. Now, I get less than a dozen clicks a month and about $3 a month. This month I only have one click and today is the 12th. I simply have no idea what has happened. I mean it isn't so much the money. I just think Google has done something. What that could be, I have no idea.

Interesting hub, there was a glitch I read about in Google searches during October, was well written about on the net about search results. Thought it had been rectified...

Didn't know about that sorry, haven't got an internet connection for along time( moved to a new place that wasn't completed yet) so, after not being able to go online for 3 months, you'll miss out on a lot of stuff.

still, it's already december, so...

thanks for the comment though.

I have been saying the very same thing for a long time now, Hubpages use Yieldbuild but their ctr is low because of so many unrelated ads, if you find that software let me know and good luck !

Our income from AdSense has always been up and down, and never very far up!

However, on our website the ads usually match the content. There are a few exceptions, such as a few months ago when we kept getting ads for some famous person's "Total Business Mastery" - and the ad was a block photo. We thought those ads totally spoilt the look of our pages, and we never got a single click on them either!

That said, over the course of a year we get more income from Google AdSense than any other online income stream.

If anybody ever says you can get rich quick, they're lying.

What Google has done is start showing ads that the system thinks are relevant to you based on search history regardless of the content on the page. It is a really poor system that I am sure will go away soon.

I also said long ago that as soon a Google went public it would hurt content providers. I am not saying they are doing anything illegal but they never have disclosed what portion of the revenue was being shared, or how they decide which clicks to disallow.

I don't think the public can ever feel secure when shareholders are breathing down a companies neck. Did they really need more money to buy crap like youtube?
