We all know that top athletes don't have to look at their spendings, they sure do have a penny saved, as their salary is to say the least quite a bit above an average salary.
This year the NBA season needed to start at November 1st, because of a lock-out, this was howevefr prevented. On July 1 it was announced because no agreement could be found that a new collective concerns. The owners of the NBA last year claiming $ 300 million (218 million euros) losses suffered and are pushing for collecting more revenue.
Both for the club and for the NBA players, the ban on playing is a disaster. During a lockout, the basketball player does not play or train. They receive no salary, and therefore the club can't do transfers.
Wether they will earn as much this year as last year, is a mystery. But unsurprisingly Kobe Bryant of the LA LAkers will stay on top of the list of the richest basketball players.
