Listbuilding 101 Take action with JV giveway events

Dear readers and internet marketers. Thousends of times we have heard the expression" The money is in the list" heck at a certain moment it starts to gets as annoying as Cartman from South park would repeat it over and over. The money is in the list, The money is in the liiist. You'll get the idea.

Yet, it is very true, but loads of people, including me a whole time ago, don't know how to start. Sure you've seen the movies, like get a hosting account, build a website, get an autoresponder, loat the thing up with mails, drive traffic, send mails and earn a gazzilion of dollars.

Heck you've all seen the neat movies, those hot shot affiliates make with their enormous earnings, altough they don't say, how much they have to pay to their affiliates, or how much refunds they have received. so don't be fooled. Anyway. That's the easy part, but, and now we get to the essence. How do you actually start to build your list. How will you get the traffic to your site, or squize page, and how will you get them to pay you?

Ok, we also now the answer to that last question. Give them value, and then give more. But that is already a bit to advanced for this hub.

One of the best ways-and often overlooked- are JV giveways. Or joint venture giveways. These are exellent places to build your list. let me explain why:

Loads of marketers are looking for freebies, wether out of curiosity, or just to find a good new ebook on a topic they need for free. The fact is that JV giveways attract a lot of visitors to their site, and all these want to get free stuff. Remember that i said, give them value, well that value consists of free stuff, so there you go, that's the 1st part.

When you join such a giveway event, which is often by invitation only, make sure you make a full use of it. you wont regret. In case you have a product to promote, you have some piece of software, an ebook, or giveway rights to a membership site, put it up for grabs on this giveway event which often lasts for a week or two.

It's easy, you put in all the info you need to put your product online, such as the url of your squeeze page, the url of your download page, some info and the value of the product, and that's it. You are now ready to get free targeted leads.

I told you it was easy.

When a person subscribes to this giveway event, and starts to browse around the gifts, has the option to download or request the gift. You will see a download button next to it. The person presses on this download button and is redirected to YOUR squeeze page with YOUR product and optin box. When he or she want to download your product they fill in their credentials and you got yourself a new lead.

Make sure you put a set of follow up emails in your autoresponder though. Make something like a 5 day ecourse, or some sort of newsletter, to keep and hold their attention.

With the most giveway events, you can submit 1 product on this site, unless, you upgrade, you always have this option on sites like these. How much it costs is of course entirely up to the event, but often when you do, you get things like;

- 5 Gifts Allowed ( More Gifts = More Exposure)

- 5 Special Offers

- 5 Text Ads

See the potential? Trutfully, i always join such a event, and at my last event that i joined i have recieved 263 optin leads, which are still in my list. Not to bad i guess with 5 minutes of work.so marketers, why wouldn't you jump on the bandwagon, this is one of the best ways to build your list, instead the list of some affiliate product owner.
