Basic golf game etiquette

This article will explain you the true basic principle and rules, you'll need to follow
when you are on the golf court. As a golfer myself, i often see, new people starting out,
and nevertheless the fact that they know the rules, they often start to get reckless, which
at the end could become annoying for a lot of people and in some cases even dangerous,
so here goes......

Golf is a dignified game of rules and manners, and
it’s crucial to know the basic principle before you play for
the first time.

Whether you are playing alone, in a pair or a
foursome, you must wait your turn. You must keep aware
of the group on the next hole and wait until they're
well ahead of you prior to hitting your ball.

It’s never cool to "push" the group before of you.
If you are playing with others, wait for your turn to
hit the ball; never hit at the same time as another
player.

Whilst you wait for your turn, attend your ball and
Decide what golf club you’ll need and how you're going
to hit it. This is named "ready golf" and keeps the
game moving. Do not rush, only be ready.

If your team is delaying the players behind you, let
them play through. You would simply wave them through,
or if they're close enough, ask them if they’d like
to play through. You'll never make an enemy in doing
this!

When somebody is making a shot, you're ought to be behind
them and you should not make a sound! It is so
distracting to be ready to tee off and just as you
pull back, somebody determines to jingle in coins in their
pocket or noisily unwrap a piece of candy.

When you hit you're ball and it still get's near other people, mayby
by bad luck, a burst of wind or a miscalulation, shout 'fore'
That way people know they have to be carefull, and will hit the ground.
Don't be embarrased to call 'fore' every golfer sometimes, makes a miss
you shouldn't be disgraced.

Replace your divots. If, in the fairway, you hit the
ball and a chunk of dirt and grass goes flying, replace
it. On some courses you just put the clod back and
step on it to press it on; on most courses, there is a
sand/seed mixture on your card to put into the divot.
If your ball makes a deep impression when it lands on
the green, use your divot tool to fix it.

As soon as you've completed a hole, replace the flag
and leave the green so that the next players can play.
Count your score and write it on the scorecard when
you’re back at your cart.

Naturally, there are many more rules of golf, but
these simple ones will enable you to get through the
course without coming to blows with anyone. We must
all keep the game dignified, right?
